Father Deacon Anthony Yoe was born in South Korea. And was raised in Northern Virginia since 1973. He has over twenty-six years as a Manager & Senior Electrical Engineer, RF/Microwave Engineer, IP Engineer, Project Manager, Voice over IP Engineer, Satellite Engineer, Switch Engineer, Senior Database Administrator, and Network Engineer.
He has worked for International, National, and Regional commercial companies and as a Government contractor for the United States Navy.
He holds six Master’s Degrees in Classical Liberal Arts, Information & Telecommunications, Business Administration, Patent Law, Systems Engineering, and Computer Science (candidate). MS Computer Science, Towson University; MS Systems Engineering, University of Maryland Baltimore County; MS Patent Law, University of Maryland Law School; MBA Management, Johns Hopkins University; MS Information & Telecom, Johns Hopkins University; MA Liberal Arts, St John’s College; BA History, Virginia Tech.
He was baptized in Christmas 1999 and was confirmed in 2000 in the Holy Cross Korean Episcopal Church. He has served as an acolyte at the Church of Ascension & St Agnes Episcopal Church in Washington DC from 2002 to 2012. He returned to the Holy Cross Korean Episcopal Church to serve at the altar, to grow the Korean congregation, and to provide the Anglican formation by giving lectures on Anglicanism. Eventually, his love for the 1928 Prayer Book and the Anglican Missal brought him to the Church of St Andrew & St Margaret of Scotland to serve as an acolyte. And later to answer the call to the Diaconate in 2019, and eventually to the Priesthood in 2022.
